Who are we?

Founded in 2012 by Chun Un, a US and UK trained biologist and linguist (hence the company name), BioLinguist Translation Studio is an independent (and small) language service provider based in Macao in the south of China.

Our translators are linguists who have either a background in biomedical sciences or the advertising industry; so we focus on providing our clients with services such as biomedical translation, academic editorial and translation services and creative translation (ie transcreation).

Our interpreters are top-notch professionals and native speakers of Mandarin, Cantonese or English who frequently travel to locations across the Pearl River Delta (Macao, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou in particular) on simultaneous, consecutive and liaison interpreting assignments.

What do we offer?

We are a company of specialists as well as generalists. For starters, we specialize only in the language pair of EN<->CN in translation and editorial service in the biomedical field; however, when it comes to transcreation and interpreting, we are capable of tackling  a wide range of fields and subject matters in the same language pair.
